UniARTE – experiment kunst

“UniARTE experiment kunst” intends to give new creative and artistic inputs to the daily pedagogical routine. In UniARTE, the concept of lifelong learning involves the cross-linking of secondary and tertiary educational levels. UniARTE addresses pedagogical staff and, at the same time, supports pupils in their personal development.

UniARTE experiment Kunst” (University, Arts & Education) is a two-year Comenius Regio Project (2009-2011) with partner institutions in Austria and Germany.

The Austrian partners are the Vienna Board of Education, the KinderuniKunst at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, the Junior High School Carlbergergasse in the 23rd district of Vienna and the “Neue Mittelschule Himberg” in Lower Austria.
The German partners in the Ruhrgebiet region are the chair for didactics of art at the University of Technology Dortmund, the school administration authorities in Dortmund and Unna and six schools in Dortmund, Lünen, Selm and Unna.
In Austria, instructors and graduates from the University of Applied Arts Vienna offer workshops in four different fields to 11- to 14-year-old students:
