Crossing Borders – removing borders
A Focal Point between East and West
In the context of an overall European integration, cross-border cooperation between educational experts, teachers and students is assuming increasing importance.
The Central European Regional Network for Education Transfer – CERNET – is designed to meet this challenge in the areas of pre- and in-service training. CERNET is one of the largest EU projects run by the City of Vienna and coordinated by the European Office of the Vienna Board of Education. It is supported by funding from the INTERREG IIIA programme. CERNET supports educational cooperation in Central Europe through a range of programmes and initiatives.
